El Güero Marinero
El Güero Marinero is one of the most fun places we visited in Puebla. Take a seat at the bar and watch the chefs prepare every seafood dish right in front of you, creating a lively atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Expect fresh ceviches, oysters and beautifully presented seafood dishes, all paired with great cocktails and a carefully selected wine list.
Atypica
One of our favourite all-day cafés in Puebla. More than just a specialty coffee bar, Atypica combines beautifully brewed coffee with a creative kitchen that celebrates local ingredients. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, brunch or simply a great cup of coffee, this place immediately feels like a local favourite.
Analema Café
Hidden inside a beautifully restored 19th-century house, Analema Café feels like a peaceful escape from Puebla’s lively streets. Besides excellent specialty coffee, they celebrate Mexican cacao through creative drinks and desserts. Don’t miss the charming courtyard tucked away at the back.
Gospel Coffee
A great stop for specialty coffee while exploring Puebla. Gospel focuses on carefully sourced Mexican beans and expertly brewed coffee, making it a favourite among locals looking for quality without the fuss.
Café Cultura
One of Puebla’s original specialty coffee pioneers. Long before specialty coffee became popular in the historic centre, Café Cultura was already introducing locals to carefully brewed Mexican coffee. Today it’s still one of the city’s most loved cafés and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a really good cup of coffee.
