Emma
For a fantastic lunch or dinner with a special view, visit Emma (@emma_restaurante)! Serving delicious seafood en vegetarian dishes on a beautiful location. You have to walk up a hill to get to this restaurant, but the walk is so lovely and totally worth it!
Macanela
Trendy breakfast and lunch in a cozy, modern patio at Macanela (@macanelagto). Delicious smoothies too! It seems like the place where all the trendy people from Guanajuato come together.
Cafe Tal
The cute cafe Tal (@cafetalgto) has the best cortado in town. It’s in the middle of the beautiful centre and you can also take the coffee to go (we did that a lot).
Biga Pan
Biga Pan (@bigabread) is a delicious bakery for super fresh, artisinal bread and homemade toast. You can combine a visit to this bakery with a visit to the beautiful garden ‘Las Acacias’.
Pali
Pali restaurant (@paligastronomia) is also an art gallery! They make dishes that look like art themselves. The interior is modern and the staff very friendly. A unique spot and very different from all the other restaurants in Guanajuato. A must go!
Condesa
Condesa (@condesarooftop) is the perfect bar that gives spectacular views of the basilica at night and is nice for a cocktail (and a dance!).
