At the modern and creative @portobellobudapest you can go for a healthy and quality breakfast and lunch. We had a delicious sourdough toast with scrambled eggs, raclette, kale and peanut rayu. They also serve several natural wines and good cakes!

We tend to be skeptical about bagels and often find them a little dry, but not at @bestbagelbasilica! You can immediately taste that they are freshly baked, love it.

101 Bistro
@101bistro.budapest is a Taiwanese bistro for the curious and has an amazing small menu with lots of vegan options. Order whatever ‘cause it will be VERY good! We loved the different bao buns, the Chinese mandarin sorbet and especially the steamed spinach with sesame cream. When you pull this little green work of art apart, you get a delicious salad. The serene and modest interior perfectly matches the food.
Pingrumba
If you like sharing Middle-Eastern influenced dishes, visit @pingrumba_bp! Delicious mezzes, spreads, pitas and other dishes inspired by the journeys of the owners. They manage to combine flavors from different countries into their creations, which makes it really distinctive. Also love the concept of dividing the restaurant in several sections! We really enjoyed our spot in the winter garden. This beautiful restaurant also has a cousin in Budapest (with a slightly different menu), @dobrumba!
Twenty Six
If you want to dine in an amazing and stylish setting, go to @twentysixbudapest. This all-year Mediterranean garden right in the center of Budapest (yes, all plants and trees are real!) has amazing cocktails and a sharing menu with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes.

@marlouwinebar_store is a new and amazing wine bar in a beautiful, restored old building right behind the Opera building @operabudapest. The owner is French, but also has a lot of knowledge of Hungarian wines. Just let yourself be advised! And have a delicious Hungarian cheeseboard with it..

Sit by the Donau with beautiful views at @balnaterasz! This lovely and sunny outside terrace has good cocktails and is a good place to visit in the afternoon. Enjoy the sunset falling over Budapest.
Szimpla Kert
@szimplakert is a beautiful ruin pub in the heart of Budapest. Quite busy since it’s a popular place, so long queues at night. If you want to avoid the crowd, go in the afternoon. In daylight, you can also see more of the beautiful building!
Doblo winebar
@doblowinebar is a more classic wine bar in the centre of Budapest with live music every evening! A super romantic place that also has small bites and dishes.
