Bogotá is a city that most tourists skip or stay for a very short time. But this city is brimming with life and culture and is also home to an incredible food scene! Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast, a lover of cocktails or in search of Latin American cuisine at its fines, Bogotá’s dining scene has something special for you. We hereby share our personal guide with some of this city’s must-visit spots!
Mesa Franca
@mesafranca is in the world’s 50 best restaurants Latin America and we totally get why. This modern Latin American eatery is a celebration of innovative flavours, fresh ingredients and artful presentation. It also has some kind of European touch if you ask us. Known for its dynamic menu and inviting atmosphere, the chefs of Mesa Franca reimagine traditional dishes into something entirely new.
Dios Bogotá
@hoteldios.bogota is a boutique hotel and an amazing restaurant. We went here for lunch but you can also make a reservation for dinner! We loved the fact that there’s a barbecue in the middle of the cozy restaurant. They pay attention to veggies as well, which is quite unique in Colombia. Also loved their special cocktail menu. The atmosphere is really nice, absolutaly worth visiting!
Atlas Chapinero
@atlaschapinero is a wine bar that’s truly surprising in a Colombian city like Bogotá. They have a menu with enough bites to fill your entire evening. Think about different tostadas, dishes to share, small bites like hummus and amazing olives and empanadas. They serve wines from all over the world, from Argentina to Spain. We loved the vibe and had several conversations with locals that love to come here. Perfect for an evening of drinks & bites!

Tropicalia coffee
@tropicaliacoffee is a specialty coffee shop that also serves delicious home made pastries. It’s located in the vibrant North part of the city and perfect for a little break. And ofcourse they’re using Colombian beans.
Libertario coffee
@libertariocoffee has coffee stores in Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica. If you want to discover the Colombian coffee culture, this is the place to go! It’s also known for its commitment to transparency, sustainability and quality. They source beans from local farmers and their single-origin coffees are amazing. They also have a nice terrace!
De una travel
@deunatravel is perfect if you’re looking for a cozy terrace with true Colombian vibes. They often have live music and the street is perfect to watch people enjoy Bogotá, locals and tourists. We just had a cocktail here and it was very good (and reasonably priced).
