Discovering Haarlem in 48 hours results in lotssss of good food to share! This was our first time visiting this city and with a little help from some Haarlem insiders, we’ve made up this list of must-go places in this cozy city.
Ti Bisou
@tibisoucrepes brings authentic Breton crêpes to the center of Haarlem! The savoury ones are made from buckwheat and the taste is truly fantastic. They have lots of specials, but they also manage to make a simple one with egg and cheese super delicious! Perfect for breakfast or brunch.
La Maru
@lamaruhaarlem is a good bakery and coffee place in one. We’ve had a filled croissant with braised apples, the perfect autumn treat.
Wijnbar Viqh
We loved our time at @wijnbarviqh! At this cozy wine bar you can also opt for several tastings, like ‘pick a country’ or ‘full bodied’. You’ll get to taste 3 different wines and can even choose white or red.
PIP Deli
@pipdeli – brunch how we like it! Lots of veggies and the menu changes with the season. Our favourite; the toast with marinated mushrooms and salsa verde.
Coffee
For coffee we recommend @coffeehabits.haarlem, @julescoffee_concept and @mica.coffeebar (fully vegan).
Mama Gaia
@mamagaiahaarlem is fully vegan and fancy! During weekends they serve a 4- or 5-course fine dining menu, but you can also go for the bar bites like we did! Good hummus, muhammara, fresh pita bread and vegan gyozas, absolutely loved it.
FLFL
@falafel.nl is a chain but reaaally good! We got ourselves a wrap and salad before we left Haarlem and even took some frozen falafels back home.
